Not only does Carowinds strive to provide their guests with a “best day ever” experience, but we also take the time to offer that same “best day ever” to our associates. On Thursday, the Carowinds team celebrated the academic achievements of five Carowinds employees, awarding them each a $1000 scholarship to help further their higher education studies.
The winners of the 2016 Carowinds Scholarship program are:

- Heather M. Biage
- Kobe D. Wilson
- Hollyn L. Chantemerle
- Spencer C. Childers
Carowinds has given away $90,000 in scholarship monies since 1994.
To be eligible, associates had to be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, have a cumulative GPA of a B or higher, and submit an essay to be reviewed by an independent panel of three education and business professionals.
