Champagne Tips for A Guest Friendly Bathroom

Guest Friendly Bathroom

I love having friends and family come to our house. Most of the time my house is picked up but the biggest battle is with my girls and the guest bathroom. They think they can leave it a mess. I try to instill in them that they need to keep the bathroom clean because it is after all the guest bathroom as well. Here are some ways to make your bathroom friendly for both family and friends. The first thing you can do is make a little framed sign reminding your guests to put the lid down. There is an old saying that if you leave the lid up that your money will go down the drain. Maybe that is why we never have any money. Also you never knew when little ones might try to flush items down the toilet. Don’t laugh but my sister God bless her soul used to love flushing things down the toilet. No matter what it was she would try to flush it. LOL Also make sure to do a septic tank cleaner a week before guests come. This will ensure that there will be no backups during their visits. Keep a covered trashcan nearby so guests can throw away personal products without the fear of prying eyes and embarrassment. And don’t forget to stock up on toilet paper in the guest room. Nothing is more embarrassing than for your guests to yell for someone to bring them some toilet paper. Of course when you do you do you business you have to wash your hands so set out some fabulous towels and soaps for your guests to use. You can fill a baskets with mini soaps, lotions, shampoos, conditioner, toothpaste, toothbrushes and deodorant. This can be done on bare budget if you snag freebies whenever you can and use them in the basket.

So this is what I do to make our bathrooms guest friendly. What do you do to make your bathroom fabulous for guests?
