Fun Projects for You and Your Kids This Fall

Fun Projects for You and Your Kids This Fall from North Carolina Lifestyle Blogger Champagne Style Bare Budget

With fall comes colder weather and more days spent inside. With this being the case, some parents might be looking for projects to complete with their children to stay busy and productive. If that is the case, y’all have come to the right place! Here are just a few fun projects for you and your kids this fall.

Fall Wreath

It is convenient if y’all ask me! This project isn’t just fall-based – you can do it for every single season. All you need is the wreath base that you could get from a previous wreath you have or from the store. Then, you can pick out the different items that you are going to put in it based on the season.

For example, for a fall wreath, y’all might choose to get acorns, leaves, and maybe even little pumpkin decorations that could be intertwined in the wreath. How cute, huh?

Paper Plate Scarecrow

If you have paper plates, colored paper, and markets, you are set! Give your kids these products and they have everything that they could possibly need to make a cute scarecrow.

My advice is that you guys complete one first, or at least show them an example of one online for some inspiration and direction. Who knows how the scarecrow will turn out if y’all just hand them the supplies…

Personalized Halloween Costumes

If you have the time and energy for a larger more complex project, make your child’s costumes at home. This project will not only give you a creative outlet, but it will allow your child to pick their most desired costume and customize it to their own personal wants and needs.

The best part? If y’all aren’t the creative type, just check Pinterest. There are so many DIY homemade child Halloween costume ideas that don’t take much time and energy. That sounds like a win-win to me!

Handprint Acorns

This is a quick and easy one that takes next to no supplies and time. Warning though, y’all – it might get a little messy. Get yourself some construction paper and paint. Help your kids draw and paint the top of the acorn, and then paint their hands so that they can push their handprint below the top of the acorn to fill in the body/handprint portion. How adorable is that? It turns out to be a great sentimental project you will want to keep for years to come!

All four of these fun projects for you and your kids this fall are among the numerous crafts and activities that you can do this fall to entertain you and your children while spending time at home. Stay busy and active! It’ll make the time more enjoyable for everyone.
