Pickup trucks have gotten a bad reputation for being bulky, manly cars, but pickup trucks have turned over a new leaf in recent years, becoming a great option for anyone. Here are a few of the top reasons why you should consider a pickup truck for your next car purchase.

If any of y’all have ever owned a compact sedan, you know the struggle of your car being too small to be useful in some situations. A pickup truck can be useful in many scenarios, from moving furniture to turning your truck bed into a cozy drive-in movie spot. Or, if you’re like me, your truck bed will come in handy for simple, everyday activities like grocery shopping or taking the kids to football practice. The bed of the truck is perfect for keeping my kids’ sweaty equipment from stinking up the cab.

One of my biggest concerns when buying a new car was safety. Pickup trucks position you high above other vehicles, giving you better visibility and a safer position in the event of a collision.
