Simple Ways to Redecorate Your Home
I don’t know about you, but after staring at the same couple of rooms and being stuck in the house for the last year, I’m ready to change some things up. If any of y’all feel the same way, then I encourage you to join me in doing so. If you don’t know where to start, I’ve made a list of simple ways to redecorate your home. I will be going room by room to give y’all my suggestions on what you can do to improve your space.
The Living Room
If your living room feels a bit drab, start by painting the walls. You want this room to feel comfortable and inviting. Finding a warm color scheme will help with that immensely. If your current furniture doesn’t add to that feeling, you might want to find some new ones. If that’s simply not in the budget, I’d suggest looking into slipcovers. They are much cheaper and can make your furniture look brand new.
Once you’ve settled those steps, it’s time to reorganize the room. Set your couch and chairs up in a way that will make it easy to see and talk to other people in the room. With COVID restrictions lifting, I’m sure the time to have house guests over again is right around the corner.
The Dining Room

Now is the perfect time for y’all to find discount dining room furniture. Doing this will make your dining room feel more accessible to larger groups. If you want it to feel even more inviting, open up some windows to let the sunshine and fresh air in
The Office
There’s a pretty good chance that not many of y’all had an at-home office a year or so ago. Working from home is a new concept for most of us, so our first attempts at setting up an office probably weren’t the best. I know mine was lackluster, but I’m here to tell you that something as simple as adding more lighting might just do the trick. Of course, there are plenty of other ways to give your at-home office a more professional feel, but this one was my favorite—so I wanted to share it with you.
The Bedroom
I know that the majority of y’all probably haven’t changed your bedroom that much (if at all) since the day you moved in. You get accustomed to the way it looks and never think about altering it, which is why this is the most important room to change up on our list of simple ways to redecorate your home.
I would recommend starting with the bed. Not only should you try out some different sheets, but maybe you should get a new mattress as well—especially if you haven’t been sleeping well lately. After that, if y’all feel like your bedroom is a bit cramped, clear out the clutter and get some floor-to-ceiling curtains. You’d be surprised how much taller your room feels after doing that.
