It’s time to set New Year’s resolutions, y’all. Every year, I swear I’m going to commit to my goal, and every year, I fall short. But I promise that 2022 is my time to shine. What’s my resolution, you ask? I want to increase my organizational skills, y’all! My house has looked like a tornado hit it for the last two years. I know we’ve all been stuck at home, but I can’t make excuses for myself anymore. Instead, I’m using these everyday items that help you improve organization.
Makeup Container
I used to be ashamed of my bathroom, y’all. I kept all my cosmetics and lotions on the counter instead of putting them away. Well, enough is enough! I bought myself a massive makeup container that can hold all my stuff, and I suggest you do the same. Not only do my bathrooms look neater, but it’s also so much easier to find things. Long gone are the days of searching for my concealer in a pile of products.
Floating Shelves
I guess I used to have a thing for keeping things on my counter, y’all. The counter in my kitchen used to look horrific. Then, I started to make the most out of floating shelves in my home. These items are amazing because I can throw things up there to free up counter space. Plus, it’s so much easier to grab things off a floating shelf than it is in a cabinet. I was tired of digging through stuff just to cook dinner, and this change has made my life so much easier.
Shoe Rack
Another everyday item that helps you improve organization is a shoe rack. I LOVE shoes, y’all. But my addiction slowly took over my closet. This problem wasn’t resolved until I bought a shoe rack to hold all my precious babies. Now, I can pick out heels or sneakers at the drop of a hat. My hubby is so excited that he can walk into our closet without tripping now.
