Later this week, hundreds of girls will gather for an adventure unlike any other in Savannah, the birthplace of Girl Scouts.

QuestFest, a weekend of fun adventure, challenges, and entertainment, brought over 1,000 Girl Scouts last year, and even more are expected this year.

What is QuestFest?

The “Quest” in QuestFest stands for the main event – a scavenger hunt of epic proportion through the Historic District of Savannah. Teams of 10-15 will set out once again in search of an experience, rather than an item. Using a smartphone app, teams will choose from a list of challenges, and submit a photo or video via the QuestFest app as evidence of their accomplishment. Whether they’re competing for fun or aiming to earn a cash prize, all teams will participate in a massive “Quest” to find items, do good deeds and give back to the community.

Ghosts, boats, and campfires, oh my! The “Fest” in QuestFest is the cherry on top of an epic weekend of Questing and stands for the add-on events. The agenda includes favorites from last year- a movie night at the historic Lucas Theatre for the Arts, Twilight Camp at Girl Scout Camp Low, a riverboat cruise on the iconic Georgia Queen and a special Bridging Ceremony. It also includes brand new events like a ghost tour (on Friday the 13th!) and a Savannah Banana’s baseball game (food and transportation included).

The Awards Ceremony & G.I.R.L. Showcase Concert will be held on Saturday; Kristina Lachaga is headlining the concert. Kristina has numerous career highlights– including opening for Shawn Mendes and One Direction. American Idol contestant Mackenzie Carey and the Girl Scout Citrus Singers are set to open. All of our performers are current or former Girl Scouts- great examples of the go-getter, innovator, risk-taker and leader spirit that Girl Scouts embody.

We hope that you will follow along with the girls as they head out on their quests and celebrate being a girl!
